From Africa to the World: Trending Microbiology
During this Conference we have an opportunity to take stock of our history, to reflect and to shape our future. We would like to explore ways in which we can improve our current practice and look at possible innovations that could benefit us in future. All this should be viewed specifically within the South African context – with special consideration for our partners on the rest of the African continent. It is our vision to share our knowledge and to learn from one another – both to enable growth within our professions and to benefit the broad South African society and the rest of the continent.
Submitted abstracts should consist of four sections labelled Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions. These sections should briefly describe the objectives of the study or investigation, the basic procedures (study subjects and analytical methods), the main findings (giving specific data and the statistical significance, if possible), and the principal conclusion.
Don’t miss this opportunity to share important new knowledge with colleagues, furthering improved microbiology practices in Africa while increasing recognition of your professional work and that of your team.
The following are the abstracts categories:

- Molecular Biology
